    About this property

    • One of the most popular ski destinations of the French Alps, the Courchevel 1650 resort has access to the most premium slopes in the country. Not only is it home to an unprecedented number of green and blue trails, it also has fantastic links to the Three Valleys ski area, giving a grand total of 600km of slopes waiting to be explored by skiers of all levels.

Looking across the Courchevel 1650 resort is the charismatic Hotel Le Seizena. Built from wood and stone collected from the Alps, this unique hotel sees tradition and prevailing trends combine. With an elegant, unadorned ambience, Le Seizena’s interior has been designed with a stylish mixture of smooth, sanded woods, cool brushed aluminium and warm toned fabrics. An aviation theme (the hotel takes its name from the Cessna light aircraft) throughout the communal areas adds an interesting quirk to the lodge’s décor.

The luxury cabin style rooms are warm and welcoming against the dazzling backdrop of the snow-topped Alps, with each room accompanied with a chic, en-suite bathroom. Each room also comes complete with a number of essentials including a minibar, safe, LCD television and Internet access.

Despite its boutique stature, Le Seizena has a number of hidden charms. The hotel’s library lounge can make a cosy hiding spot in the evenings, especially with its panoramic view looking down towards the valley. The secluded rear terrace is an obvious favourite amongst guests, towering above the Courchevel resort and offering spectacular sights of the snowy planes.

For more practical ways to loosen up, Le Seizena also has fitness equipment for guests to use, as well as a hammam spa room.

The hotel’s kitchen offers a delicious breakfast service and an a la carte dinner service on five nights of the week, while the vivacious Courchevel resort has plenty of other restaurants to explore in the evenings. Once you’ve taken the time to wander amongst the exclusive bars and boutique shops that the resort has to offer, you’re sure to find yourself completely enchanted by this snowy, vibrant town.

    • The hotel has 20 cosy mountain chalet rooms that offer every modern comfort including King size beds, private bath or shower an hairdryer, minibar, a safe, an LCD TV and internet access.

There are six superior cabins which range from 28-39m2 in size and ten executive cabins which vary from 19-26m2. The four family cabins range from 25-30m2.

If possible request a room with a view of the valley for the best views and quietest rooms.

    • There are no specific childcare facilities but children are very welcome.

    • The lounge style ‘Restaurant Le Seizena’ serves a delicious breakfast and dinner on five nights a week.

Hotel facilities include a Hammam, a cardio trainer and library lounge with panoramic view of the valley.

There is access via an escalator to the ski runs, a ski shop and car parking (on request) – just a few minutes walk.

    • Tobogganing: Once you’ve had your fair share of skiing for the day, the resort’s popular toboggan pathway runs all the way down to the 1550 resort.

Night Clubs: If you’ve still got the energy for some après-ski entertainment, the Courchevel resort plays host to a number of bars and clubs that remain open until the small hours of the night.

Cycling: During the summer months, it’s possible to hire bicycles to venture along the mountainside. Why not test yourself along a previous Tour De France stage?

Shopping: Courchevel is perhaps one of the most shopping focused ski resorts. Offering a myriad of stores including haute couture fashion names, supermarkets, perfumeries and sports stores.

Helicopter tours: For an activity at the more extreme end of the spectrum, why not book a helicopter tour for an unmatchable bird’s eye view of the mountain?
