Situated in the sun-drenched Three Valleys region, the Courchevel 1850 resort offers access to an unprecedented 600km of trails for skiers of all levels, making it one of the most popular ski resorts in the world.

Standing proud at the heart of this picturesque resort is the bold Le Chabichou, hard to miss with its pristine white, chalet-style paneling. The interior of the hotel is equally impressive; each spacious room’s décor is crafted with mountain pine and deluxe furnishings, creating a cosy hideaway from the wintry outdoors.

Le Chabichou prizes itself on its cuisine, and rightfully so. Boasting a two Michelin starred restaurant with a menu of authentic local dishes crafted by top chefs Michel Rochedy and Stephane Burone, you’re always guaranteed something special. The restaurant itself is a sight to behold, lunch time guests are given the option of eating on the sunny outdoor terrace, but it’s hard to resist the main dining room with its ornate, wooden carved ceiling and chandelier fixtures. It’s no wonder that Le Chabichou attracts diners from all over Courchevel.

For those looking for more informal dining, the hotel’s bistro restaurant, Le Chabotte, provides a contemporary style menu. Le Chabichou also has a bar offering sweets and pastries throughout the day, as well as a selection of fine wines to be enjoyed while sampling the live entertainment in the evenings.

The prime piste-side location of the hotel adds an air of simplicity in getting to and from the slopes, with some trails ending just a short distance from the hotel’s door. The hotel’s on site ski shop helps to take the hassle out of booking and buying equipment.

For guests who enjoy the more tranquil aspects of a mountaintop resort, Le Chabichou is home to a newly built lavish and innovative spa area. It’s easy to lose yourself in the multi-sensory ‘Indian Ocean’ and ‘Dead Sea’ pools, or you could give the spacious steam room, ice and salt grottos, sauna or jacuzzi a try. Massage, body and facial treatments are also available from specially trained staff, leaving you primed and ready for another day conquering the Courchevel slopes.
