    About this property

    • A classic beach hotel with a contemporary design, Sani Beach (formerly Sani Beach Hotel) finds itself located next to two white sand beaches, with guests just a short walk from the sandy shores and shallow crystal waters. 

      Each of the resort’s five star suites is designed with a modern colonial styling, with elegant furnishings playing off the neutral colour scheme. Every room feels fresh and airy throughout the day thanks to the floor to ceiling windows, which provide panoramic views of the Aegean Sea and landscaped gardens that surround the resort. Each room is designed with a private terrace, balcony or garden, allowing guests to step outside and enjoy the warm climate and fresh ocean breeze. Specially designed family suites are also available.

      The Sani Beach’s main restaurant, Poseidon, provides a premium buffet service with a varied mix of specialty Greek cuisine, world foods and fresh seafood, most of which is sourced locally. Guests can also dine at a number of first-class restaurants and bars located at the hotel and across the resort, offering an eclectic range of a la carte and tailored set menus. A 24-hour dining room service is also available for those too tired to dine in the restaurant.

      The leisure pursuits and activities available at the Sani Beach resort are second to none. As well as having a professional water sports centre, Padi Diving Centre and innovative fitness suite, the resort provides a mountain bike hire service, allowing guests to explore the local scenery in style. Floodlit, clay tennis courts are available to hire, with lessons also available.

      The resort has a stylishly crafted, ‘lagoon style’ swimming pool network, which features a dedicated children’s section as well as a heated, indoor pool with jacuzzi at the Spa. Guests are also invited to relax along the private stretch of beach, with a bar and massage service available for sunbathers. For the ultimate in relaxation, try the resort’s exclusive MySpa area. The wellbeing centre uses natural products for a range of rejuvenation and cosmetic therapies, while the thermal suite is designed with a sauna, Jacuzzi and steam rooms for some serious detox. A hair, beauty and nail salon is also available on site.

    • Situated in a breathtaking position on the Cape Sani, Sani Beach provides comfort and a variety of room types with 394 rooms, in 2 attached buildings over 8 floors.

      All rooms feature a furnished terrace or balcony, hairdryer, slippers and bathrobes, exclusive bathroom amenities by Anne Sémonin International direct-dial telephone, multi-channel satellite flat screen television and integrated music channels, cd/dvd player, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar/fridge, electronic safety box, air conditioning/heating unit. Standard and Grand Suites additionally offer expresso machines. Please note that by April 2014, all of the suites and rooms will have been completely refurbished (apart from possibly 4 rooms).

      Double Room:  Double room (refurbished) offering contemporary design and comfort. Guests can choose either garden or sea view. Bathroom with stand alone tropical shower (no bath). Terrace or balcony with table and 2 chairs. Indoor space approx. of 25 m2. A similar Triple Room can fit an extra bed or a cot for a child in this room, although those wishing to have reasonable space would be advised to consider a junior suite or family room.

      Junior Suite:  Junior Suite (refurbished in 2011) with seating corner offering contemporary design and comfort. Floor-to-ceiling windows are overlooking the Aegean Sea or the hotel’s pools. Bathroom with either bathtub and tropical shower or a stand-alone tropical shower only. Balcony with table, two chairs and two sun loungers. Indoor space approx. is 35 m2. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults and 2 children.

      Junior Suite Sea Front:  Seafront Junior Suite with seating corner (refurbished in 2011) offering contemporary design and comfort. Floor-to-ceiling windows are overlooking the Aegean Sea. Bathroom with bathtub and tropical shower. Terrace and small private garden with table, two chairs and two sun loungers. Direct access to the beach (distance max. 25m). Indoor space is approx. 35 m2.  Maximum occupancy: 2 adults and 2 children.

      Junior Suite Panorama Sea View:  The spacious 40m2 suites (new for 2012) offer luxury combined with the best views in the whole of Sani Resort. Breathtaking vistas over the Aegean which you can even enjoy from the comfort of your own bed or your large private terrace complete with coffee table and chairs. This spacious suite offers contemporary design with a seating corner, floor-to-ceiling windows and Dream Beds for extra comfort. The bathroom features a tropical shower cabin. Panorama Junior Suites can accommodate up to four people – a maximum of three adults and one child or two adults and two children up to the age of 12. Indoor & outdoor space approx. 60m2.

      Family room:  Combination of two Double rooms (with interconnecting door) offering contemporary design and comfort. Indoor space of approx. 50 m2. Guests can choose either garden or sea view. Please see the Double room description.

      One Bedroom Family Suite:  One bedroom Suite with separate bedroom and living room, (refurbished in 2011) offering contemporary design and comfort. Bathroom with bathtub, tropical shower and two washbasins. Balcony with table and 2 chairs. Indoor space of approx. 50 m2.

      2 Bedroom Family Suite: Two bedroom Suite with separate bedrooms and living room, (refurbished in 2011) offering contemporary design and comfort. Two bathrooms, one with bathtub, tropical shower and two wash basins, one bathroom with tropical shower cabin. Balcony with table and 2 chairs. Indoor space is approx. 70 m2.

    • 4 months – 4 years:   Melissa Crèche Club

      This is operated by UK childcare specialists, Worldwide Kids Ltd, in accordance with the UK standards and regulations.  There are 3 sessions: Morning 10-13:00, Lunch 13-15:00  and Afternoon 15-18:00.  Prices vary for 4-23 months and 24-47 months old children – please ask for latest prices for half day, full day and lunch sessions.       4-12 years:  Melissa Mini Club

      The Mini Club offers a complimentary  programme with fun games and activities. The club is regulated by Ofsted and run by qualified, English Speaking staff.  There are 3 sessions: Morning 10-13:00, Lunch 13-15:00  and Afternoon 15-18:00.  These 3 sessions from 10am – 6pm are complimentary for children aged 4 years and over.  There will also be an evening session from 18-21:00 for Melissa Mini Club at a cost.  For Lunch and Dinner sessions there will be supervised meals at the main buffet restaurants at Sani Beach Hotel and Sani Beach Club. Supervised children will eat at 13:15 and at 18:15. Costs of their meal will depend on their room package, half or full board.

      13-16 years:  Teenage Club During high season there is a  complimentary Teenage Club for up to 17 year olds with specially organized activities. Sani Teen Club will operate 7 days per week, 10-1 and 3-6. The main Teen base will be at Nautilus Club at Sani Beach Hotel. Teens from Sani Beach Club will be met in the club foyer by a Teen supervisor at 10am and 3pm each day. Some activities will be chargeable. All of the above clubs are closed on Thursdays.

      Complimentary “Babe Watch”:  There is also the “Babe Watch” babysitting service available on every beach, where children of any age are supervised (first 30 minutes free of charge) every day so that the parents can enjoy a short break.

      Babysitting:  Babysitting is available upon request for the evenings (from 6.30pm) at approx. €10-15 per hour.  Please note that if babysitters are required from 10.30pm the cost of a taxi (approx. €15-20) will be required, however this cost can sometimes be shared with other parents.

      Dining:  In addition to the buffet meals available at some restaurants, there is a Children’s menu available at the Artemis restaurant and Dolphins pool restaurant.

      WWKC Football Academy:  open 6 days per week and closed on Sundays, for children aged 5-14 years, at the following times: Ages 5&6 years – 10-12:00, Ages 7&8 years – 10-12:00, Ages 9-11 years = 16-18:00and Ages 12-14 years = 16-18:00. Costs vary from year to year so please ask. Children who attend 5 sessions will usually get a complimentary 6th session. Children attending 3 or more sessions will receive a Player Evaluation Card to help them in further improving their skills in future. Special skills medals will be awarded to children who have performed particularly well during sessions. Please note that all of the information and rates detailed above are subject to change from year to year.

    • Restaurants:  The Dine-Around programme allows half-board guests to enjoy their meals at most (10 of the 15) restaurants ranging from Italian,  Mediterranean and Greek to Asian and more , all within the Sani Resort. Guests may use their half board meal allowance in a number of a-la-carte restaurants, where the guests can either select one of the several tailored set menu’s, without extra charges.  In the case that guests choose to order from the a-la-carte menu, a credit of €20 per adult (€15 per child) will be applied.  Please note that the Half board option can be used for lunch or dinner, so there is complete flexibility every day.

      Swimming pools:  There is a large lagoon-style swimming pool with fresh water (2000m2), separate children’s  pool and an indoor heated pool with Jacuzzi * at The Spa Suite, complimentary sun  beds, umbrellas, towels. *Please note that the use of the indoor pool is for guests over the age of 12 years old except for during ‘Splash hours’ which are from 08:30am  until 2pm.


      • There are 15 bars – beach bars, pool bars,jazz bar, cafes and a night club throughout the Sani Resort and Sani Marina with a variety of bands performing live Greek, latin jazz, ethnic or classical music.
      • The new open-air Garden Theatre is available to all Sani Resort guests at no extra charge with musicals and shows  and live stage performances.
      • Beach parties are held at Bousoulas beach bar, including special night parties.  Don’t miss the ‘White Nights Party’ on Wednesday nights!
      • Open-air cinema ‘Orpheus’ (June-September)
      • Festivals include: Gourmet Festival 10th-19th May 2013, Sani Music Festival on Sani Hill (seats 3,000 pax) in July  and August.
      • Sunday Cruiser – a complimentary 3 hour morning or afternoon cruise offered by each Sani Hotel on a different day of the week, where guests are provided with a picnic and the opportunity to swim.  Alternatively guests my opt for a complimentary sunset cruise.  Both cruises are subject to availability and on a first come first served basis.
      • Private boat tour – With breathtaking scenery surrounding Sani’s coastal region, families and friends can take to the Aegean Sea aboard the Sani Queen. Available for as long as a full day’s cruise, let your skipper be your guide in this truly unique way of seeing the local area.

      Spa: Indoor spa, heated pool with Jacuzzi, fitness studio, sauna, steam bath and rasul, hairdressing salon, Deli Spa bar, relaxation area and treatment rooms for a wide range of massage and pampering beauty spa care treatments with Anne Semonin products. As from 2013 The Sani Resort have introduced a selection of Junior Spa Treatments geared for guests aged 12 or over. These include manicures, pedicures, soothing neck massages and there is even one that can be enjoyed with mum! Fitness activities are supervised by highly trained professionals with one-to-one training available for fitness development, weight control etc (at extra charge). The indoor spa areas, fitness studios, saunas and steam baths are strictly for the use of guests over the age of 16 years. Guests under 12 years may only have access to the indoor pool area during ‘ Splash Hours’ daily from 8.30am -2pm.

      Sports: The new Sani Sports Centre is located in Sani Beach Hotel and includes the following facilities: mini soccer court (28x14m, multi purpose basketball court, beach volleyball court and 6 tennis courts. Complimentary sports facilities include:  Aerobics, Beach Volleyball, Football, Archery, Hiking, Fitness Studio*, Basketball, Table tennis, Sauna*, Steam Bath*, and Caldarium*. Sports facilities at an extra charge:  Tennis courts, (6 clay courts incl. 3 with floodlit) and tennis school. Watersports  (Waterskiing, Windsurfing, Pedaloes , Canoeing, Catamaran, Parasailing, Banana, PADI-diving centre (at Sani Beach Club) , Mountain biking station and Billiards. *The indoor spa area, fitness studio, sauna are strictly for the use of guests over the age of 16 years.

      Sani Marina: The vibrant and magnificent Sani Marina is not only a haven for numerous yachts but it also plays host to an excellent array of restaurants, bars and chic boutiques. The Marina offers a fantastic setting for families and couples alike. Weather you decide to take a wander around the Marina during the day and enjoy perusing the various yachts and boutiques or head down the Marina of an evening. You will discover a number of restaurants and bars at the Sani Marina. Those guests staying on a Half Board basis can eat in many of the restaurants at the Sani Marina through the exceptional Dine Around programme. In the marina you will also find a supermarket, grocery shop, various boutiques, souvenir shops, shoe shop, book store, newspaper stand and a cash point.

      Shuttle Bus: There is also a complimentary shuttle bus service within the resort, car rental available in the hotel.

      WiFi: Wi-Fi Internet access located in public areas.

    • Water sports: The Sani resort offers equipment hire and supervision for a range of water sports including waterskiing, windsurfing, canoeing and parasailing. The PADI-diving centre offers professional scuba diving courses.

      Walking trails:  The area surrounding the Sani resort is well suited for nature trails and hikes. Trails include a venture through the woodland area towards the local bird sanctuary or following a wetland path along the cliff tops.

      Wine tasting tours: More of an excursion than a tour, this wine tasting adventure takes visitors through mountains, across forests and to fruit vineyards. Meet with the local wine union and taste some of the region’s best-loved wines.

      Shopping: The nearby Sani Marina is home to exclusive boutiques and stores, selling a collection of jewelry, watches, clothing, gifts and souvenirs. Open seven days a week, till late.

    • When to travel

      Although there is sun all year round and the winters are mild, most guests stay here from May to October, with July and August being the hottest months with average daily temperatures in the early 30s oC. There is a  Gourmet Festival (8th-18th May)  and  Sani Music Festival on Sani Hill (seats 3,000 pax) in July  and August, both are great times to visit Sani Resort.

      Location & Directions Sani Resort is located in Halkidiki on the Kassandra Peninsula, the Western of the three ‘fingers’ of Halkidiki, next to Sithonia and Mt Athos Peninsulas.  The resort is located 74 kilometres or a a 50 minute drive from Thessaloniki airport.

      How to get there: British Airways and EasyJet offer scheduled flights from London Gatwick to Thessaloniki airport, with flights taking approx. 3 hours and 15 minutes.  It is then a 50 minute private or shared transfer to Sani Resort. Easyjet now also offer a direct service from Manchester to Thessaloniki. Please note that Greece is 2 hours ahead of GMT.
