Hotel Annapurna

Courchevel 1850, Three Valleys / France / France Ski

Bringing a whole new meaning to the term 'on piste', the Annapurna is set directly by the side of Courchevel’s Pralong ski run - take your first step out of the ski room door across the crunchy snow and you’re ready to ski! The ultimate in ski convenience isn’t Annapurna’s only draw; light and spacious rooms, a sophisticated dining experience and Courchevel’s only outdoor heated swimming pool make it a first-class addition to
this popular resort.

What to love

  • Ski-in ski-out convenience, the slopes lead right up to Annapurna’s door.
  • Stunning panoramic views; the hotel has been designed with large windows in every room, giving breathtaking views of the mountain scenery.
  • The heated outdoor swimming pool is a fantastic way to take in the mountain air while staying warm and relaxed.
  • Professional cocktail bar with bar staff nominated for top French bartending awards.

What to know

  • Peaceful piste-side location away from the hustle and bustle of the resort centre.
  • Private free shuttle available to take guests to and from the centre of Courchevel 1850.
  • Not all rooms have a balcony – be sure to check with us in advance.
  • There is a large playroom suitable for children up to eight years old and a games room with computer games, table tennis and pool for slightly older kids.

A skier’s paradise, the Annapurna hotel provides an impeccable mountainside location. Situated a 5 minute drive or ski from the bustling centre of the trendy Courchevel 1850 resort, the Annapurna provides a private seclusion further up the piste, gifting it unsurpassable access to the slopes (the Pralong lift run is adjacent to the hotel’s grounds). Of course, for those looking to return to civilisation, the hotel offers a free premium shuttle bus service to the centre of the resort.

The hotel’s interior has a cool alpine climate. The rooms have crisp, white walls offset with timber framing, while the huge panoramic windows allow natural light to fill the rooms all day. The impressive suites each come with south facing balconies, so you can embrace the mountain air while sipping your morning coffee.

The freshness of Annapurna’s design stretches throughout the extravagant communal areas. The large, sweeping windows make a welcome return in the hotel’s restaurant, allowing guests to enjoy breakfast whilst watching early risers ski down the piste. Or if that’s not close enough to the action, dining on the outdoor terrace is a truly unique way to enjoy the hotel’s menu of traditional and international cuisine.

Annapurna’s après-ski activities are second to none. The grandiose lounge bar serves classic cocktails from award nominated bar staff, which go particularly well with the roaring fireplace and piano entertainment in the evenings.

The hotel’s exceptional spa area features a heated indoor pool, a sauna, a Turkish bath, Jacuzzi and massage facilities. But for those keen for some real natural relaxation, a few lengths in the outdoor heated pool is a sublime experience with the Alps as your backdrop.

Families will be pleased to know that the hotel has a large playroom suitable for children up to eight years old, with babysitters available upon request. For slightly older kids, a games room with computer games, table tennis and pool should easily suffice. Guests can also take advantage of the on-site hairdressers, beauty salon and fitness gym during their stay.
