When to Travel
Winter season: December to April, when the area is covered in a blanket of snow, this is a skiers and snowboarders paradise. February to April are the best months but the resort is an lovely place to be for the christmas and New Year festivities too.
Summer season: Early June to early September, is ideal for that peaceful escape into the beautiful scenery and summer in the mountains with the flower blooms starting in early June.
Autumn season: A quiet time in the alps but still with spectacular scenery and attractive prices for young families in particular.
Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis enjoys a superbly sunny location above the Inntal Valley on a plateau situated 1,400 m above sea level. Surrounded by the enchanting mountain peaks of the Samnaun Group and the foothills of the Ötztal Alps.
Private or shared transfers from Innsbruck airport will then take approx. 1 hour, Alternatively Friedrichschafen is approx. 2 hours) and Memmingen is approx. 2 1/2 hours.
The Children’s Club consists of an enormous adventure world for children which extends across an area of around 1,000 m². Children can look forward to the delights of the Bär Paradise – a huge soft play centre extending across five floors with slides and gigantic climbing tower as well as an outdoor sandpit, a toddler’s playroom, special crafts and puppet areas, The Bär theatre consists of a large entertainment hall with a professionally equipped show stage for children and a 3D chilren's cinema.
Children are divided up into different age groups with different programmes tailored to meet the needs of each age group.
Bär Baby Club 0-2 years: Babies and infants up to the age of two are tenderly looked after at the Löwe Baby Club. They have been awarded the “Baby-Perfekt” quality hallmark for their comprehensive range of services.
Bär Mini Club 3-6 years: Children between three and six years of age are looked after at the Mini Club. Here they find everything a child can only dream of, from the five-storey soft play centre and giant climbing tower to a special crafts and creativity area.
Bär Kids Club 7-9 years: The Kids Club offers lots of outdoor games and sports activities including a pirates’ puzzle, the climbing wall, smugglers’ night, a treasure hunt and the children’s show. The programme of activities includes a sleep-over in an alpine hut, the giant Skyswing and the Adventure Mountains (with the Witch’s House and Explorer’s Trail) as well as the hotels’ very own School of Magic.
Bär Teenie Club 10-13 years: 10-year-olds and older children can look forward to an exciting, action-packed programme of different activities at the Teenie Club ranging from climbing, inline skating and mountain biking to smugglers’ adventures, ball games, canyoning and climbing in the forest high ropes garden. An outstanding highlight of the week is the staging of the children’s show in the Bär theatre.
Mealtimes at the Children’s Club: Members of staff are more than delighted to look after your children at mealtimes. In addition to a children’s buffet in the evenings the hotel also offers a supervised lunch and evening meal for youngsters at the Children’s Club.
Lucky Luke Saloon: Upon request supervised lunches and evening meals are offered at the Bär. The saloon has more than a touch of the Wild West about it!
