Enjoyed by royalty and celebrities alike, Courchevel offers unprecedented skiing opportunities with its access to 600km of ski runs and a total of 173 lifts in the Three Valleys area. Sitting at the highest altitude of five resorts in the valley, Courchevel 1850 gives residence to fabulous boutique stores, enriching art galleries and world famous hotels.

Peering out from behind the alpine trees and overlooking the resort is the Hotel La Sivoliere. Carefully constructed with a wood and stone finish, this boutique hotel has an intimate simplicity and is a visual treat when illuminated in the winter evenings.

The design inside, however, is anything but rudimentary. Fitted with rich, wooden panelling, each room has a grand allure, with a stone tiled bathroom that follows suit. Opt for one of the hotel’s plush suites or apartments, and you’ll have a large stone fireplace to keep you company in the evenings, as well as a balcony or terrace from which to marvel at the snowcapped landscape.

La Sivoliere sits next to the Dou du Midi red piste, gifting it an unmatchable ski-in, ski-out convenience.  Renowned for its range of slopes, Courchevel has always been a popular ski destination for families, which is why La Sivoliere has dedicated so much to its Kids Club. Kids can enjoy their own dinner service with other young guests, as well as mocktails (smoothies), a dedicated reception service and a 3D image play area. Meanwhile, grown-up guests can enjoy the local cuisine served in the hotel’s restaurant, or perhaps try their own cocktails at the charming lounge bar.

Guests also have the chance to spoil themselves at the exclusive spa area and massage rooms available, as well as at the quaint tearoom serving homemade breads, crepes and pastries. Just remember that you’re expected to spend some of your time on piste.
