Sun Gardens Dubrovnik is a superb choice for a family holiday with a wide range of family activities, child-friendly restaurants, two dedicated children’s pools and a children’s club.
Marco Polo Kids Club: 3 to 6 years and 7 to 11 years open daily 15th May to 30th September from 10:30 to 19:00
Operated in conjunction with the Worldwide Kids company, the Marco Polo Kids Club provides a fun and creative programme of activities in a safe environment. From sports to educational and environmental events, the kids club offers a full and varied programme of activities including splash volleyball, mask making, face painting, a Marco Polo themed scavenger hunt, Croatian dancing, nature walks, arts and craft activities, water sports and mini Olympics. There is even an opportunity for children to make a Croatian inspired present for their parents. The kids club is a complimentary childcare service that operates to strict ratios so pre-booking is strongly recommended.

The childcare team also provides a themed evening children’s entertainment programme with games, dancing and lots of fun.
The Hideaway Teen Club: 12 to 17 years daily morning and afternoon sessions 1st July to 31st August
The Hideaway Club offers teens the chance to make the most of their stunning surroundings away from their parents. Activities include basketball, water skiing, archery, snorkeling, climbing wall, water-polo and sometimes boat trips to the local islands and jet ski safaris are organised. The club offers a tailored week of events that changes on a bi-weekly basis and operates on a complimentary basis.
Babysitting: Babysitting services are available for children aged from 6 months from from 15th May to 15th September from 08:00 to 23:00. A maximum of two children per babysitter are permitted and they must be from the same family. Babysitting services must be pre-booked at least 5 days in advance.

Sun Garden Sport Academies: Children aged 7-15 can join one of the sports academies during their stay. Operating from mid-May to mid-September for 5 training sessions with specialised trainers while Saturdays are reserved for a final tournament, children can choose from tennis, football, basketball, water-polo or sports camp (a combination of the above). Academies must be pre-booked.
Activities: Sun Gardens features a fully equipped gym and a superb range of indoor and outdoor activities for the whole family including five-a-side football, three clay tennis courts (local charge applies), squash, badminton, a rock climbing wall, sand volleyball, basketball, group fitness classes, table tennis and pool tables. There is a a seasonal watersports centre with jet skiing, water tubing and banana boats (local charges apply) and a private marina where guests can charter boats and arrange diving trips (local charges apply).
Swimming Pools: The resort boasts three outdoor swimming pools open from May to September. The Sunset pool, overlooking the sea, includes water features and a dedicated kids pool. The Marina Pool is for adults only and is the perfect spot for couples to unwind. The Lemonia pool is popular with families seeking to splash around in the sun. There is also a hydrotherapy pool and 18 metre indoor pool in the spa.
